@ 2:35 Where did Paul Saunders sample those chimes/bells on Another Direction? Sounds like an old new beat track I used to have but cannot remember for my life what its called ;)

I always wondered what Paul aka 'The Wax Doctor' would follow up 'A New Direction' with. He was always going to be under pressure to top his last release, which was never going to be easy after writing such a massive hit. However not only did Paul produce another Anthem, as far as I was concerned he produced two, even though 'Another Direction' was the preferred side by the DJs. The title 'Another Direction' says it all as this track stood out like a sore thumb when first played at the Raves. It had a unique sound and feel to it inspired by the early U.S Transmat releases.With its raw riffs and marching drums, it used to tear up the dance whenever played, simply awesome.On the AA is another hardcore killer of a tune 'The Stalker' which features a stand out break beefed up with Detroitesque claps, before dropping into its Acid Bassline's, an unforgettable piece of Techno magic and a must for any serious collector of purist hardcore. It's also worth noting that this was the first release that Ron's new trainee studio engineer worked on for Basement Records, a certain Mr Alex Reece.
